Backup and Restore (Advanced Feature)
You can access Backup Company File and Backup Customer File commands in two ways as below
- File Drop Down menu as you see above on image 1 and to click Backup Company File or Backup Customer File
- Keyboard: by pressing Alt-P (Alt and letter P simultaneously) to backup Company File
and pressing Alt-O (Alt and letter O simultaneously) to backup Customer File
Backup Company File
Backup Company File will save a copy of company.txt file in a folder that named with exact Backup Date and Time (eg: 16Feb20_102715am) in Shaz Invoice 2020\backup\company\16Feb20_102715am path.
Restore Company File
Select a company.txt file for restore from Shaz Invoice 2020\backup\company\backupDate_Time folder ( eg: Shaz Invoice 2020\backup\company\16Feb20_102715am\company.txt ), then Copy and Save the selected company.txt file in Shaz Invoice 2020 folder to replace the existing company.txt file that exist in this folder.
Backup Customer File
Backup Customer File will save a copy of customerdata.txt file in a folder that named with exact Backup Date and Time (eg: 16Feb20_102715am) in Shaz Invoice 2020\backup\customer\16Feb20_102715am path.
Restore Customer File
Select a customerdata.txt file for restore from Shaz Invoice 2020\backup\customer\backupDate_Time folder ( eg: Shaz Invoice 2020\backup\customer\16Feb20_102715am\customerdata.txt), then Copy and Save the selected customerdata.txt file in Shaz Invoice 2020 folder to replace the existing customerdata.txt file that exist in this folder.
